12.08.22: Jighu Saa, an annual magazine of Newa Bhay Bownekykuthi, Singtam Sakha Guthi was officially released at the Kwati Punhi Festival at Nepali Dharalsala, Singtam. Probably, one of the first annual magazines of a Sakha Guthi in Sikkim. The magazine documents all the activities carried out by the organisation in the last four years. Starting the journey with classes for Newar language speaking and learning, traditional dance and recipe cooking class to supporting community causes like blood donation, green mission, assistance for fire victims, financial support to Newar Bhawan, short films and natural calamities to extending Meritorious Educational Grant to the members and finally establishing a newar mandir, are all part of the publication.
