Singer Geeta Sharma given warm welcome at Rangpo

SINGTAM, OCTOBER 25 : Singer Geeta Sharma, participant at Voice of Nepal - Season II was given a warm welcome at Rangpo Guest House. She was welcomed by the members of Newa Bhay Bowneykutti (Singtam), Topa Chisopani Jan Kalyan Sangh and Toppakhani Sai Bhajan Mandali. She is at home for the Puja festival. Binita Sharma, mother of Geeta Sharma welcomed her daughter by blessing her with rice-tika while others offered her khadas and congratulated her. Geeta Sharma, Sikkim State Awardee in Music is the only contestant from Sikkim to take part at Voice of Nepal Season II and she has reached the Knock-out Round. Speaking on the occasion, Geeta Sharma thanked each one present to receive her. She expressed her happiness and said, she is overwhelmed by the blessings and love showered by the people of Sikkim and every nepali speaking population. Those good-things would surely give me strength to perform better, she further said.

Singtam Basibiyalo congratulates Singtam’s Geeta Sharma and Gangaa Mukhiya

 May 16, Singtam: Members of Singtam Basibiyalo, a monthly literary and cultural forum met Gangaa Mukhiya and Geeta Sharma recipients of State Civilian Award 2013 at their residence today. They appreciated their success and congratulated them for their honor. Three member team led by Mohan Pradhan “Neeraj”, Sansthapak Singtam Basibiyalo offered Khadas to the awardees. Singtam praises Darjeeling ‘T’ Idol runner-up Geeta Sharma

SINGTAM, JANUARY 5: Singtam Basibiyalo and Badhaichha Creation from Singtam had extended congratulation towards Geeta Sharma for bagging the second position at the recently held Darjeeling ‘T’ Idol, singing competition at Darjeeling. More than 2500 participants had participated in the competition. 43rd Singtam Basibiyalo paid homage to Gyaltsen Sir

SINGTAM, April 30, 2012: The famed Singtam Basibiyalo added a new chapter to its growing status on its 43 rd episode dedicating the day to late Gyaltsen Sir. Sonam Gyaltsen Lucksom as he was more popularly known as Gyaltsen Sir, a well-liked and admired teacher from Sumin Lingsey SS had passed away last month. Mohan Pradhan ‘Neeraj’, Sansthapak Singtam Basibiyalo spoked about his relationship with late Gyaltsen Sir and his last meeting with Gyaltsen Sir few days before his passing at Singtam District Hospital. The family of late Gyaltsen Sir was called upon the stage and presented with a certificate of condolence to Hemlata Lucksom, mother of late Gyaltsen Sir on the behalf of Singtam Basibiyalo. Angalo Yo Maya Ko reaches Singtam Basibiyalo

Singtam: Much anticipated Nepali film “ Angalo Yo Maya Ko ” made from Sikkim starring Indian Idol winner Prashant Tamang is set for a grand premiere at Vajra on March 31, 2011. The lead actors and actress are busy promoting the film in different places of the state.  Five members of the film units were present at Basibiyalo, a monthly literary meet to promote their film. Mahendra Gurung, the other lead actor after Prashant Tamang was present on the occasion along with Praja Pradhan (actor and Assistant Director), Gita Sharma (singer), Bindhya Singh and Payal Prasad (actresses).   Mohan Pradhan “Neeraj” from Basibiyalo Singtam welcomed the guests on the stage and introduced them to the gathered crowds.
