  29.06.24 : The first coordination meeting for the 210th Bhanu Jayanti Celebration held at Singtam was conducted at Community Hall, Nagar Panchayat, Singtam. The meeting saw active participation from the public of the Khamdong Singtam Constituency. During the meeting, a celebration committee was formed in the presence of the Chief Guest, Shri Rohit Raj Maharaj, and other distinguished guests. The committee has decided to celebrate the 210th Bhanu Jayanti grandly. Shri NB Dahal, Hon'ble Minister, Road and Bridges Department and Area MLA, 17 Khamdong Singtam will be the Chief Patron, while Shri Suresh Tamang, President, Singtam Nagar Panchayat will be the Patron. 13.07.21, Singtam: 207th birth anniversary of Adi Kavi Bhanu Bhakta Acharya was celebrated at Bhanu Udhyan, Singtam on July 13 maintaining proper health and safety covid protocols. Dr. MK Sharma, Health Minister, Government of Sikkim, and Area MLA was the Chief Guest of the day while Bindeshwari Prasad, a prominent Nepali literary writer, Secretary - PHE Department was the Guest of Honour.   SINGTAM, MAY 31 : Sikkim Philatelic and Numismatic Society celebrated its 12 th anniversary with a hobby exhibition at Bihari Dharamsala, Singtam on May 30th, 2017. Inspire 2017- a hobby fest featured display of stamps, coins, bank notes, antiques, matchbox collection, autographs, old newspapers, identity cards and button flowers. SINGTAM, SEPTEMBER 7:   The seven ICDS of Singtam and its surrounding observed the National Nutrition Week on September 6 at Singtam Mandir Line ICDS. The seven ICDS that included Mandir Line, SNT Complex, Daragoan, Goskhan Dara and Mandi Bazaar had also organized the day long program. Bishnu Maya Sherpa, Secretary, Singtam Nagar Panchayat was the Chief Guest of the day.
