  17.08.24 : Excited to announce that Miss Palak Agarwal, a student of Mount Zion School, Kidzee, Singtam, and daughter of Ravi Agarwal (RK Studio) and Ritu Agarwal, secured 1st place in the Under-9 Girls category at the 2nd Sakatam International FIDE Rating Blitz Chess Tournament in Guwahati. In the Under-18 category, Ayan, Abelane, and Anmol excelled against rated competitors, while Yedhant performed admirably, suffering only one loss. In the Under-12 category, every player demonstrated commendable skill against tough opponents. Congratulations to coach Rohit Gurung and all the Sikkim participants for their impressive performances and valuable experience.

The 2nd Guwahati International Film Festival (GIFF) 2018 started with a bang on 25th October 2018 and concluded on 31st October 2018. Remanti Rai and  Geeta Sharma are among the five singers selected from Sikkim for the next Guwahati round of the North East Wave, a mega talent hunt in singing and dancing among the North East States. The other three singers are Sujata Tamang, Rakesh Moktan and Suraj Sharma. Similarly in dance category are Rohan Dahal, Sheetal Rai, Robin Mukhia, Reshma Baraily and Pema Lhamu Pradhan who shall represent Sikkim in the next round.
