RONGLI, DECEMBER 19: On 11th December 2017, in the presence of Hon'ble Zilla Adhakshya, EDZP, Shri Samsher Rai as the Chief Guest, BAC level free coaching camp for HCMMS aspirants was inaugurated at Rongli JHS. The 15 days long coaching camp will end on 26th December 2017. The camp is being organised with the active involvement of Deputy Director, HRDD Rongli Sub-division, Shri Dorjee Sherpa, Assistant Director, HRDD, Regu BAC, Shri Narad Chettri, other officers & staff of HRDD, and head of the institutes of all government schools under Regu BAC. The inaugural function had the presence of Deputy Director, HRDD, Rongli Sub-division, AD, AEO, Coordinators of HRDD, Regu BAC, head of the institutes, teachers and the guardians of the students who are availing of the coaching facility. 8th Apr. 2016: A Felicitation program was held today at Phodong SSS to honour top three toppers of the state. All the three students comes from the schools under Phodong SSS, viz. Gyurmee Bhutia from Phodong Gumpa PS(1st); Tshewang Palzor Bhutia from Phodong SSS(2nd); Karma Pintso Bhutia(3rd). The program was graced with the presence of Zilla Panchayat member, Gram Panchayat Member, members of SMC, Teaching and non-teaching staffs of Phodong SSS and the students of primary section. In his speech, Bijay Kr. Subba, vice-principal of the school congratulated all the three students and highlighted on the fact that these three students are the message towards the society and the source of inspiration to the budding children. Zilla Panchayat member, Mrs Lhakit Bhutia thanked the teachers for their tireless effort in preparing such brilliant pupils. SINGTAM, APRIL 8: Prakash Gurung, a former student of Sakyong Chisopani JHS visited his old school today to meet his friends before heading for Dehradun.   Gurung, hailing from Chisopani, near Singtam had stood 8 th among the 95 students selected for this year HCM scholarship. Gurung has been selected to study at The Aryan School at Dehradun,   Uttarakhand and will be leaving in a week time. Prakash Gurung had started his schooling from Sakyong Chisopani JHS and was a student of the school till class ii when he left for Gyalshing. Mahesh Dahal, Headmaster of Sakyong Chisopani JHS congratulated Gurung and offered his a khada. He shared good wishes to Prakash Gurung on the behalf of the students and staff. A small evening assembly was conducted in the school where Prakash Gurung was congratulated by other teachers too.
