GANGTOK, July 29: Webbed in the paradox of vicious circle of poverty, a 26-year-old Diki Sherpa from 9th Mile in Sikkim is fighting for her life at Rabindranath Tagore Internal, Cardiac Science hospital in Kolkotta. With a hope to save Diki from kidney failure, some of the philanthropists today appealed the public of Sikkim to lend their support by way of voluntary donation to meet the medical expenses incurred during the operation.
