RONGLI: JANUARY 28: SSB, Panchayats and Ngo members celebrated 66 th Republic Day at Phadamchen SSB camp. Binay Singh, Commanding Officer, SSB was present as a chief guest and hosted the national flag. Zangmu Sherpa, Panchayat Vice President, Sonam Thendup Sherpa, Panchayat Secretary, Raju Jairu, Jan Kalyan Nehru Yuwa Sammiti (NGO) gave the brief about republic day. LT Bhutia Zaluk PS, Ang Tashi Sherpa, Phadamchen Police Out Post, public, NGO representatives was also present. At the end of the program sweets were distributed to the children.

AUGUST 10, RONGLI: NK Pradhan, HRDD Minister inaugurated the new six-room two-story school building at Phadamchen Secondary School on August 9.   A few  hours-long program that was held at the farthest Secondary School in East District had a colorful cultural program along with a Stamp cum Photo Exhibition that was enjoyed by the gathered audiences. Dalapchand, June 26 : International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking was celebrated at Phadamchen SS yesterday. The program was organized by SSB Phadamchen and supported by Phadamchen SS and Jan Kalyan Nehru Sangh, Phadamchen. “ Think Health and not drugs ” was the theme of this year observation. Awareness speeches along with interaction and discussion with the students were the highlight of the day log function. RONGLI, May 18:   A day long program for National Environment Awareness Campaign 2012 was held at school premises on May 17, 2012. The program was organized by Jan Kalyan Nehru Yuva Samiti, Phadamchen that was supported by Ministry of Environment and Forest, Govt. of India and Envis Centre, Sikkim. The theme for this year celebration was ‘ Forest for Sustainable Livelihood’ . Debates and Speeches on environment was the highlight of the day that had more than 200 participants. Present on the occasion were teachers and students of Phadamchen SS, local publics and Forest Officials. RONGLI, NOVEMBER 12: National Education Day was observed at Phadamchen Secondary School yesterday along with the felicitation to two teachers on the auspicious occasion.   Shri Ongdi Bhutia, Zilla Panchayat member, 14-Gnathang Territorial Constituency was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Shri Kee Tshering Sherpa, Panchayat Secretary, Lingtam-Phadamchen GPU was the Special Guest.
