78th Independence Day Celebration at Sonamati SSS

 The 78th Independence Day celebration at Sonamati SSS’s ground on 15 August 2024 was marked by joy and enthusiasm. Shri N.B. JVC Singtam Unveils New Jersey, Celebrates B Division Achievement

30.06.24: Jubilee Football Club (JVC), Singtam unveiled their new jersey, officially released by Shri NB Dahal , Hon'ble Minister of Road and Bridges and Area MLA of 17 Khamdong Singtam. The event was attended by club members led by President Sangay Chhuzong Bhutia. JVC's advancement to the B Division in the Sikkim Premier League marks a proud moment for Khamdong Singtam. Members present at the occasion included Sangay C Bhutia, President, and Members; Khim Bdr. Mobin Rai is an Indian footballer from Sikkim, he has captained the Sikkim team at the Santosh Trophy and Fateh Hyderabad AFC in I-League. Rai had shown his football skills in popular national football tournaments including I-League, Durand Cup, and IFA Shield. One of the few players from Sikkim to have won the Sikkim Governor's Gold Cup playing for Mohammedan Sporting Club, Kolkata.

Rongli Losoong Knockout Football Tournament: Himalayan FC and Rhenock Fire wins their opening matches

RONGLI, 8TH DECEMBER 2021 : Inaugural ceremony of Losoong Knockout Football Tournament 2021-2022 organized by Rongli Development Group gets started from today. The tournament shall be held from December 8 th till January 2 nd , 2022. The cash prizes of the finalists are Rs. 200000 and Rs. 100000 with trophies. Tenzing Norbu Lamtha, Hon'ble Advisor, IT Department, Government of Sikkim was the Chief Guest of the day. Other guests included SDM, BDO, members of Panchayats and Zilla Panchayat. In the first match, Himalayan FC defeated CSA Red won the match by 2-0 while Rhenock Fire 04 went passed by Pakyong Gyambo with 4-3.

Rongli Premier League 2020 football kicks off

RONGLI, 10TH OCTOBER 2020: The first match of Rongli Premier League 2020 football was played between Rongli FC and Sungdung that was won by Rongli FC. In the second match Rongli United defeated Chujachen. The Premier League is organised by Chujachen Sports Academy, Rongli.   GL Bhutia, President of Chujachen Sports Academy was the Chief Guest of the day. Manjushri Public School visits Sakyong Chisopani JHS

SINGTAM, JULY 22:   For the second successive year the two schools, Manjushri Public School, Temi Tarku and Sakyong Chisopani JHS, East Sikkim had an interexchange school program. The Thirty-member school team of Manjushri Public School guided by Sudipta Khan, Jalpana Khan, and Abinash Gurung, teachers visited Sakyong Chisopani JHS on July 17, 2015. Football match (boys), Kho-Kho (girls), and exhibitions of pencil sketch and stamps was the highlight of the day. A program was organized by Sakyong Chisopani JHS at its premises hosted by Pemala Bhutia. RONGLI, AUGUST 2: Sir B.K. P radhan Memorial Open Football Tournament reached its second day yesterday. Rongli Taxi Driver Association defeated Linkey 9 Bullet with four goals to nil. K.N Pradhan Former Zilla Adhakchya, East was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The tournament played at Melatar, Rongli is held in memory of B. K. Pradhan, father of Bikram Pradhan, Area MLA cum Chief Whip, Government of Sikkim. 28 teams are participating in the tournament that will be held till 15 th of August. Both schools were observing the International Day of Sports for the Development of Peace. 67th Independence Day Celebration at Rolep Secondary School

Rolep Secondary School observed the 67th Independence Day celebration. The chief guest of the programme was Shri Mingma Sherpa, advisor of roads and bridges for the government of Sikkim. The programme started at 9:30 a.m. The Chief Guest hoisted the National Flag while the students of Rolep Secondary School presented the march past and P.T. Drill, which was an inter-house competitive programme. Nimtar JHS’s Subhash Bhujel nets 4 against Singtam SSS

AUGUST 3, SINGTAM: Nimtar JHS beats Singtam SSS 5-1 as 67 th Inter-School U-15 Football Tournament kicked off at Sakyong Chisopani JHS. Subhash Bhujel, Captain of Nimtar JHS completed his hat trick with four goals while Santosh Tamang playing as a substitute added a single goal to his team’s tally. Abhijit Rai, Captain of Singtam SSS scored a lone goal for his team. Singtam SS was the first to add a goal to the scoreboard on the match but it eventually lost to the better team. Nimtar JHS playing with red jersey dominated the game for much of the play-time. Mahesh Kumar Dahal, Headmaster of Sakyong Chisopani JHS was the chief guest of the first match.
