from: sikkimreporter Gangtok: Nitish Sharma of Melli Kerabari, South Sikkim, has reached the final round of North Bengal Little Genius, a singing competition being held at Siliguri.   Son of school teachers Mr. KP Sharma and Bhima Sharma, ten years old Nitish is a student of class five and a good singer of Bangla, Hindi, and Nepali songs. The competition which began on January 24 will be concluded on March 20 with a live telecast by the Zee Bangla channel.

It is more than strange that most of the time we hear about the music of songs being copied or rather say inspired but this song's lyrics I came across the net have a different story. Karna Das released Jindagi ko Ke Bharosa way back in 1997-97 and his song's Hindi version (i  better say ) has been sung by Jagjit Singh in Jeevan Kya Hai released in 2005 . When i was at Class X studying at Singtam High School, the only nepali singer we used to follow was Suresh Kumar. His melodious songs were such that as if..... it was for us. Do you know Saino was made four times? First, it was a Nepali movie in Bengali, followed by Hindi, and finally, the serial Ajnabhi.  It was named Bandhu in Bengali, and if everyone gets a chance upon the Bengali audio cassette, get a hold of the song  Amai Ley Bhanthey  in Bengali.  I still recall when I first saw Saino at Vajra Hall.
