Dalapchand, March 23: Generous Student Dalapchand Secondary School, a student forum of Dalapchand SS in association with Badhaichha Creation, Singtam observed the World Water Day at the school premises yesterday. Two hour short program had Inter-House Speech and Quiz Competition related to water topics. Present on the occasion was ST Bhutia, Headmaster of the school, his staff and Praveen Pradhan, Managing Director of Badhaichha Creation.   Prizes for the story writing competition organized by Red Ribbon Club Spark NGO, Singtam were also distributed.   Prakash Poudhyal, CRC Coordinator and teacher of the school was the host of the day while Sonam Dorjee Bhutia, GT (Bio) was the Quiz Master. RONGLI, DECEMBER 16:  A little over two-hour long walk from the nearest motorable newly constructed road through the forest of singing birds is a place where Pacha Saraswati Primary School is situated.   This school at North Regu could be one of the furthest situated government schools in East Sikkim.   The nearest  ration  shops of Rongli bazaar are more than a 3-4 hour downwalk for the villagers of this world, and a labourer payment for a sack of rice is Rs 400.  The Pacha Saraswati Primary School, in the 37th year of its establishment, celebrated its first-ever annual day function with much fanfare and joy on December 14 at its school. RONGLI, NOVEMBER 12: National Education Day was observed at Phadamchen Secondary School yesterday along with the felicitation to two teachers on the auspicious occasion.   Shri Ongdi Bhutia, Zilla Panchayat member, 14-Gnathang Territorial Constituency was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Shri Kee Tshering Sherpa, Panchayat Secretary, Lingtam-Phadamchen GPU was the Special Guest.
