The
mason training for Wok (Sikkip) Gram Vikash Kendra (GVK) was held in 18th,
19th and 20th of May 2015 in each of its Gram Panchayat
Unit (GPU) viz Wok - Omchu GPU, Sanganath GPU & Lamaten-Tingmoo GPU,
respectively.
From each GPU 20 masons attended the training. The Chief Guests
for the training were the Panchayat from respective GPU namely Udeep Rai, Man
Maya Rai and Mingma Sangay. The facilitators of this training were Assistant
Engineer and the Junior Engineers of Wok (Sikkip) GVK. The masons were given
the construction handbook. They were briefed about IAY/CMRHM houses and also
the detail explanation of earthquake resistant feature & correct
construction procedure and different stages involved in construction of houses
like REDRH and CMRHM were given. They were detailed about the quality of
materials to be used for construction.
The
training was success and it concluded with the distribution of certificates, Traveling Allowances and Lunch.
