Grishmita Sharma is 1st Runner Up at Face of Zylish Season 3

January 08, Singtam : Grishmita Sharma, resident of Tokal Bermoik, South Sikkim was declared the 1st Runner Up of the Face of Zylish Season 3 at the grand finale held on January 6, 2022 at MalBazar, West Bengal. Born to Late Narad Prasad Sharma and Late Junu Sharma, Grishmita is an Integrated Graduate Diploma in Aviation, Hospitality and Tourism Management; is pursuing Bachelor’s Degree from IGNOU.


Rachana Sharma from Madarihat was the winner while Anupama Kujur from Kalchini went on to grab the 2nd Runner Up title. The beauty pageant was completely designed for freshers and aspiring models. Other sub-title winners included Laxmi Gupta from Pakyong, Sikkim (Director Choice Award), Priyanka Chhetri from Kumani (Miss Best Smile) and Poly Karzi from Mathachulka (Miss Photogenic).





Pranay Pradhan and Prashant Pradhan, Directors of Zylish Academy were present in the event. Suraj Chhetri (Darjeeling Branch), Pankaj Rana (Jaigaon Branch), Sagar Chhetri (Birpara Branch), Vivek Pradhan (Birpara Branch), Chandni Prasad (Alipurduar Branch) were the Special Guests of the day.




The Jury members included Sukla Roy (Winner Face of Zylish Season 2), Sarita Pradhan (1st runner up Face of Zylish Season 2), Kajal Chhetri (Miss Darjeeling 2018 and Miss Bengal Queen 2019), Abhijeet Chhetri who was also the Fashion Director of the event. LENDUP DORJEE KHANGSARPA : The First Chief Minister of Sikkim (1975-1979)

Popularly known as L. D. Kazi, became the first Chief Minister of Sikkim in 1975 thus ending over three century old monarchy system. He became the 1st Chief Minister of Sikkim on 14 MAY, 1975 - 17 AUGUST, 1979. He was born in 1904 in Pakyong, East District. A fonuder President of Sikkim Praja Mandal, established in 1946. Later he became the President of Sikkim State Congress and held the post till 1958. In 4th general election held in 1970, Kazi was appointed an Executive Councilor and was assigned the portfolio of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry and Transport Authority. Under his presidency in 1973, the united party secured 31 out of 32 seats of State Assembly and became the first Chief Minister of Sikkim in 1974. He was married to Elisa-Maria Standford in 1968, daughter of a Belgian father and German mother who left her Scottish husband in Burma and married LD Kaji in Delhi in 1957.
